Individual Therapy

You don't have to arrive at therapy with a perfectly articulated problem.

You may simply know that something isn't working anymore — you're overwhelmed, disconnected, repeating the same patterns, struggling in relationships, carrying experiences from the past, or finding that the ways you've always coped aren't helping in the same way anymore.

Therapy offers a space to slow those patterns down and understand what's happening underneath them.

Areas I work with:

  • Trauma & difficult life experiences

including attachment wounds, childhood experiences, abuse, violence, harassment and experiences that have left you feeling unsafe or disconnected.

  • Anxiety & emotional overwhelm

  • Grief & loss

  • Relationships & attachment

  • Family dynamics

  • Shame, self-criticism & difficulty with self-compassion

  • ADHD & neurodivergence

  • Late-diagnosed adults with autism

  • Life transitions & identity

What therapy with me is like

Therapy with me is collaborative, curious and emotionally focused. I won't sit silently while you try to figure everything out alone, but I also won't tell you how you should live your life.

Together, we'll pay attention to what happens beneath the surface — the emotions, protective responses, relationship patterns and parts of you that may have developed for very good reasons.

Couples Therapy

When the problem isn't one person — it's the cycle you've become stuck in.

Couples often come to therapy feeling as though they're having the same argument again and again. One partner may pursue while the other withdraws. One becomes angry while the other shuts down. Underneath those reactions are often much more vulnerable emotions and unmet attachment needs.

Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), I help couples understand the cycle they've become caught in and begin creating a safer way of reaching for one another.

I work with couples around: communication difficulties · recurring conflict · emotional disconnection · affairs and breaches of trust · intimacy difficulties · parenting conflict · major life transitions.
